Having known Merv and Judy Lang for many years we were surprised at the size of their homestead in Frankland River, some 3,000 acres! Merv also makes the wine for numerous surrounding Vineyards. This really is living in the outback with hundreds of miles between the vineyard and civilisation. Picture below is of Merv’s drive! The Rieslings from Frankland are as good if not better than those from Clare Valley. Alkoomi’s Blackbutt is a legend in Australia whilst the Sauvignon Blanc is one of the best from Australia.
