Picardy is based in Pemberton some 200 km east of Margaret River and we dropped in here on New Year’s Day on our way to Frankland River. A chance visit turned into a full-blown tasting, with barrel samples, old vintages and lunch on the terrace with Bill and Sandra Pannell. These Pinots are sublime, very feminine and Burgundian in style, whilst the Chardonnay is going to be a sure hit.
